What chain is this and how tight should it be , it seems very loose and , should it be ?  |

Hi
The chain drives the oil pump and is very loose even from new ,
Several members have purchased new ones only to find no better

I think if it had been a link shorter it wouldn`t fit or would be too tight, so with having no adjuster they`ve had to let it run on the loose side.
They don`t seem to stretch very much though as when compared with the 20k mile one I replaced,I couldn`t see any difference, it ..had the same amount of slack...

mine is exactly the same i wouldnt think theres much pressure on it
