Hi
Im Keith, 48 (today!) and for my birthday I've just had a 1980 250n. so thanks very much for letting me in!
I live in Stoke with my wife and Daughter with a grown up son who lives nearby.
bike wise my history is short and not very sweet.
I have a 76 Honda dax. Recently written off Aprilia Shiver 750 (knocked off by a mobile phone user who just happened to be driving a car)...replaced that recently with a nice Yamaha MT09. last week I sold my bratsyle built CB550 1976. this is the first project I've ever built....it took me 5 months from start to finish and I loved it....but it had to go to make room for the MT.
I also have a 1980s vw camper...my pride and joy!
anyhow last night I picked up half of a cb250n. the other half is coming tonight!. its in 3 boxes at the moment with the assumption that most bits are present.
my plan is to build it back up, get it running, strip it back down and then blast, paint, alter ? and rebuild.
im aiming for a street scrambler style...which might not be everyones taste...but its something I fancy doing.
hope you wont mind me asking questions along the way.....
cheers for now.

Thanks for the welcome gents.
I have now got in my possession all of the bits that I'm going to get....I think that most bits are present with only a few known missing bits.
So far I have mounted the engine, fitted the front forks. Loose fitted front and rear wheels and shocks so that I can at least push the bike around.
I'm now starting to think that I would actually like to restore the bike as nature intended....as opposed to modifying it as originally intended.
More thinking required
