Spot on, from being about seven or eight my mate and me used to go off all day long ,fishing and larking about,only going home when we were starving.;D

them were the days,,,i was born oct 1947,,passed bike test 1964/65,,,no helmets ,no breath tests,Great it was,,!!!!!!LOL

Born in 1954 - also rode with NO helmet and could ride a 250 on L plates.

I was born in 1955 and also rode without a helmet, never gave it a thought,.Oh the naivety of youth.Even if I had the choice these days I wouldn`t go without one now. You eventually realise how fragile your nut is. mind you these two haven`t yet.

I was born in 56 and just got caught by the helmet law and I also had to wait till I was 17 for a bike as I just got caught by that law change as well

1953 for me and like few others able to ride helmet less but not very often always wore helmet on longish rides,was able to ride a 250 at 16 but my choice was a new BSA Starfire( no second hand ones they'd all exploded lol)wouldn't consider a Jap bike,they were crap weren't they

Born 1964 , seems like yesterday I was out riding my push bike racer with cow horn handlebars , loved it ....

1957 all ways wor a helmet I was a bit of a dickhead was riding bikes from a early age .6 points on my none licence at the age of 14 soon grew up when I left school soon got the attitude kicked out of me down the pit
