This has been taken from the articles 'Talk' page
I responded to the above post on the user's talk page (on the reasonable assumption that it was MAbbey who has been editing the article recently) with a welcome message and the usual tips and links. Some power and torque figures were then added citing manufacturer brochures which would not be acceptable, so I removed them and left a friendly explanation on the user's talk page. However the figures were then put back again citing sales literature, so I'm afraid I had to revert it. Eagleash (talk) 12:59, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

No, he's a Brit. Sounds like a really wild, livin' on the edge dude. "Mad Dog" Eagleash's hobby is philately but he insists on it being called stamp collecting.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Eagleash My god....really?
Is this also one of his other guises?
(And yes I have a reference for the picture)

He just HAD to revert it! I didn't actually do two edits, it had just taken me that long to edit the references but had pressed save so I didn't lose my work.
I have a baby and a 4 year old so this is just something to do when I'm allowed to hold my own phone for a minute. This Wikipedia General seems to live and **** Wikipedia.
Regardless, I have put Power and Torque back up using the references you guys kindly gave me. If they pass the test I'll add Top Speed and maybe 1/4 mile times and mpg.

Good grief Mabbey - you have more patience than I......... To be honest - the ONLY reference that the Wiki page needs for it to be 100% correct, genuine and factual is a link to the this Forum!!!!! And if that twat Eddie the Eagle wants further corroboration that the reference is kosher, I will come along and stick my c**k in his ear and f**k some sense into him

Well wouldn't you believe it the latest edit to add power and torque specifications has not only passed Adolf Eagler approval he actually pressed the "Thanks" button!
I might need a party for this remarkable achievement...

Again- as long as there IS a reference Wikipedia seems happy- even if it's incorrect. As well as getting the back wheel wrong I see the CB250N Bike tested did not have a locking fuel cap as a feature- but they mentioned the Z250B did....
The Wiki CB450N page has a reference to a guys BlogSpot thingy- how does that get past the Wiki Nazis? Could a reference to the Wiki pages for the CM400, CM450, etc. get rid of the "citation needed" at that point?

They seem to pick and choose and authorise whatever they want.
I think for now, I would not rely on it still.

I'm only interested in getting the SD page up to date, but there are guys who are part of a Wikipedia "Motorcycle Project" that cover thousands of articles. It's their guidelines I'm having to work in, it's just unfortunate Herr Eagleash has our page under his beady eye. At least it means that I'll be writing it to the correct way and it will hopefully be left alone.

Could a reference to the Wiki pages for the CM400, CM450, etc. get rid of the "citation needed" at that point? That paragraph is the only one that has been written by someone else and I'm unsure how exactly I can find a reference for it even though we know it to be true?

What I meant is that those bikes have their own Wikipedia pages, so correctly stating that they are related could be backed up by a link to the relevant pages? Or maybe Wikipedia don't accept Wikipedia as a source- in danger of circular references and disappearing up their own chuff.....

Today's update has been putting related models into the info box. That way I can delete the last paragraph and the "citation needed" marker.
So far I have CB250T, CB400T, CB400A, CB400 Hawk, CM400A, CM400E, CB450SS, CB450DX-K, CB Two-Fifty
Are there any that I have missed, even American ones?
