This CB125 is a 'dark art' to me....no experience with 'em at all.
Is it true this has such as thing as 'points' rather than a CDI?
And does anyone have a flying feck where the oil filter would be located if indeed it even has one?
I think I need to get a Paynes manual for this bike.

.....but not for me this time! Her indoors is hankering after moving to the front seat position to see what all the fuss is about. And all the bikes I have- none are suitable for a learner, so a Yamaha YBR125 joins the fleet. 10HP of rip-snorting learner power! Nice little Yam, I started on a RD125DX twin with 16hp!

Mmm, not like the 125 singles with a thimble type under the generator - teflonmike.craywiki.co.uk/0_Lo_075_Workshop_F_009_CB-Strainer.htm

Ah - you must have missed the thread, Carl. It was a month or two back this 125 was found in a garage and was about to hit the dumpster.
The owner died and his wife was having a clear out when my old man noticed it in his friends neighbours garden (who was the said wife above).
An enquiry was made if I wanted it and I said yes.
Managed to get it up here from Reading for fifty squids.

You dropped well on that one buddy!!!
I think it is the same frame and bodywork as the CB100N (need to double check that....) - but obviously a slightly bigger engine...
Will get back to you.........
