I think it's one of the CRK kits.

Looks beautiful but I would never modify an SD to be anything other than what it should be, there is no improvement that can be made to them other than restoration to their original. If I wanted to make a cafe racer there are hundreds of more suitable bikes to choose.

If I wanted to make a cafe racer there are hundreds of more suitable bikes to choose. Im sure there are many other forums out there saying the same thing. I bet they also think that there chosen bike should only ever be standard and for me that would be really boring. Its the changes and personnel interpretation of bikes that makes them so interesting.

I agree suki, showroom standard, nice clean examples with patina, cafes, specials and bobbers, there is room for them all, its what keeps it interesting and keeps them all on the road instead of the breakers bone yard

I would be one of the first to drool over a showroom original SD......but I am not averse to a well-done special either....but it has to be well done and not a lash-up.
So much so, I intend to use one of these CRK kits to create a cafe SD soon......high gloss black with the tiniest of gold detail and copper plated fittings (headlamp bowl, switches, engine detail etc.)
