Yes, the rubber one that butts up to the tank when one tightens the tap up.
Generally, this is the one that causes leakage issues.

He said in an earlier post that it was leaking from the tap body, That's why I was on about splitting the tap.

P,S - I just slipped mine in - no removing of rivets - fiddly - but had it done in five mins. I wonder if we are talking about the same thing.......any chance of a picture, Charlie? I think we might be talking about different areas of the tap. I tried a new washer between the tap and the fuel tank but it still wept fuel. After drying it off and looking with a bright light it became clear that the fuel was leaking from the area around the actual lever itself and dripping from the bottom. I'd post a picture but its such a slight leak it would be hard to spot.

Back home, & I've tried my 14mm Wemoto tap on the N tank & it doesn't fit I checked my paperwork & I got the 16mm tap from Silvers, not ebay. They have the Honda tap for £48 & the pattern tap for £18. It looks like Wemoto do the 16mm tap as well, but confusingly only mention it in the info button on the 400NA listing, not the 400NB. They're £10 - £12. I got a tap repair kit for my CB500 from NRP & it's been great - the lever is silky smooth now. No-one seems to do a pattern tap for these. For our SDs, it's the other way round - plenty of pattern taps, but no repair kits. I couldn't find one on Andy's listings. I might have a go at mine & get the o ring seals individually - not really worth it at the price of pattern taps, but satisfying

Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
I managed to source a new tap and the bike sailed through its first MOT since 1981 today.
Just out of curiosity I drilled the heads off the rivets in the old one and found the rubber washer with four holes in it that seals the tap innards had disintegrated completely.
