Yes I've got a tinkering session lined up too ( can't take her out as I still have'nt bought my silencers ,they will have to wait till payday. ) This is due to one of my dogs having realised I had some spare cash and demanding I gave it to the vet instead

Health wise he is fine but now he's sulking turning his nose up at all his favourite foods just to punish us ,his mouth is a bit sore as he's had a few teeth removed and a scrape and polish ,but he had to be left at the vets and thats whats upset him .He'll come round eventually but for now he's insisting everythings poison .and I'm having to hand feed him cooked chicken to make him feel special again but thats what happens when you have highly strung dogs

It's been quite gorgeous here today as forecast....and was dying to get out on the deluxe all day but had a bit of a nightmare of a morning - including an old bat taking the drivers side door mirror off my motor......this has never happened to me before!! Anyway.....I got out around 2:30pm and took her around the block at least ten times. She ran well, but there was just something not right. Dare I say, I actually gave her a good old blast down the lanes - almost thrashing her to try and get rid of that certain odd 'something' going on - can only describe it as an uneven 'pulsing' on tick over. After a while I thought - yes sorted - all well again. Then I got home and noticed the running was a bit rough again - then clocked the issue - petrol was p*ssing from the LHS carb overflow tube. I knew it was the left as I tugged on the leaking pipe. Here she is just after I returned:

I'd love to get my bikes out now but winter is still with us up here, the salt is still be chucked down all over the roads and its been wet and windy today.
Going to be the end of the month atleast I reckon before any of mine are coming out, except for the SD that is. But I haven't even ridden that all week - I have a van now!

Loz also has a van.........think I may need to join this club soon.......wouldn't mind a rusty transit.

Here she is just after I returned: Hey Nick I had the exact same problem when I went for a ride yesterday, it ran fine when going about 50 - 60 but when slowing down to stop & on tick over it did not feel right when I got home I was putting it onto stand & noticed petrol coming out of overflow pipe under bike mine was the left one as well :/ I managed to take apart without taking carbs off bike as I hate doing that takes about hour & half & tricky I had already fitted new float needles in when carbs were stripped down last year, I checked it all & buggered about & all looked fine so put it all together again and all ok at moment fingers crossed hope you get yours sorted nick

yeah so I can move the bikes about and attend more meets. Its a Citroen Dispatch, wee bit smaller than a transit but should manage two bikes in the back and got a twin bike trailer as well. Been using it for work all week, looking like it costs a little more than the SD to run. Going to fill it right up on Monday and see how much fuel it uses over the week. Will still be using the SD to commute when the weather is ok. Flushed out the coolant system today and refilled as well as changed the oil and filter - god I hate working on vehicles. At least with a bike everything is in front of you and accessible!

You have my simpathy scott everything on a car or van is squashed into some small place and you have to remove the rear seats to get at it! lol!
