Well the old faithful air compressor we have had onsite since we moved in got retired today. Blame the old 'elf and safety lot- apparently I need surveys, test certs, written compressed air plant schemes and plans, yada, yada, yada or it will explode and kill me, my staff and all of the neighbourhood. It would cost more than it's worth....
But opportunity beckons- so we have just plumbed in this little beauty below and ran a new air distribution system around the building. Nobody gets killed now, except from pointless paperwork anyway.
Now why would I put in a 70cfm system just to operate a windy gun and pump up a few tyres? Hmmmmm......

Are you thinking about the soda blasting with it?
I am still looking into it.

Yes- that's the plan.
But as before I am still waiting for the "local" rep to get back to me. I hate it when you have to sell the b***dy equipment to yourself. I'll phone the factory again on Monday....

Paul, you mentioned when I saw you that you have a carb issue with your CB900F.
Are you going to use this on them or are you intending to have them US cleaned?

The 900 may actually be an ignition problem- or both. I haven't really dived into it yet. Since I got the CB1100 to ride and take a pillion out it got put on the back burner to sort out TBH. Need to get back to it this year as it's one of my core bikes to return to pristine.
My experience from what little US cleaning I have done, is that visually for carbs the parts come out a little disappointing? Still dull and grey. I did some fuel taps for my XS500's and results were not mind blowing... Maybe Gee is finding things different. Having had aquablasting demo'd to me I am just totally sold on it as the way to visually restore most parts on a bike.
Maybe a combination of first aquablasting and then US cleaning is the best combination.....
