Anyone any info on how to dismantle the rear shock,I only want to remove spring,collars etc for refurb,got as far as compressing the spring and removing the top nut and washer,does the top mount clevis screw off the damper rod or how else is it assembled,am I missing something Thanks in advance

Just undo the locknut , use a screwdriver to hold the damper rod and slacken the top mount either by turning the mount or holding the mount and turning the damper rod, slacken them so far then make sure the spring tensioner collar is at the lowest setting then screw out all the way, you should find that these spring will be loose an not under tension before the top mount is fully undone:)

Well that wasn't made clear.
If you read it back you will see that it opens as a pure technical question. Sorry to seem pedantic but there has to be a bit of sorting into the correct sections.
What's more, you will get more response to your question (and so will everyone else) if it is in the correct place.
