Do you mean how we find it to use or how we found it initially?

I was always obsessed with the Honda SD range of bikes, nothing has come along since in the bike world to quite match them. I have being collecting info on Superdreams since long before the internet was around, magazine article stuck into scrap books and folders etc. I joined the old site in it's last year or two I think but I did not post there much. I was busy with work during the change over so when I returned I was a bit confused although I recognised many of the names here. I am still building my scrap book and sometimes print off stuff from the technical forum and other useful bits of technical knowledge in case the net ever disappears or vastly transforms. I recon we are all fairly much the same breed of people here, would prefer to be left alone with out bikes and a few tools instead of up to our necks in the rat race which we have to be in too. The people who live in my neighbourhood around me and many of the people I work with are all stupid, except for the foreigners (Polish and Latvians), my family are all women, my Labrador dog is the only sane one of good sound mind that I interact with daily in Dublin. I drop in here for knowledge and a laugh, but I am not saying yous are all fully sane here either !

I was dragged here kicking and screeming.LOL Ditto Now I'm here though and since the admin team are holding me here against my will, I thought I should make the most of it. I think the Forums 1st year has been a huge success and is a credit to the admin team who take the time to run it, as well as the contributions made by the members. I think most of us do not take ourselves to seriously and strangely I think peoples personalities come across on the forum, some are slightly scary (Greybeard) some are slightly eccentric (Fungobat) and some are just genuinely nice guys (Me) Seriously though the wealth of knowledge is impressive as is the willingness to help each other out. I have had help and kind gestures from quite a few of the members, (I won't name them for fear of leaving someone out) and have had some great craic as we say over here. People on here are willing to laugh at themselves and are not quick to take offense which adds to the overall friendly and easy going nature of the forum. It has been good to see a lot of the members of the old forum eventually find us over the year and also great to see new members joining and enjoying the forum. It is unfortunate for me that I live across the sea as it makes meeting up with some of you that wee bit harder and more expensive but I look forward to making it to one of the meets at some stage and meeting you all in person which, I am sure will make me thankful I live across the sea Well done to both admin and members.
