I wonder could this really happen on a modern bike, as in a SD ?

I wonder could this really happen on a modern bike, as in a SD ? Yes if the Allen bolts at the bottom of the forks fell out, but the brake lines would stop the wheel running away.

I lost one caliper retaining bolt on a wing a couple of years back. Didn`t notice for a few days cause the remaing bolt was still OK and brakes worked fine. I assume that I waa boltless for a few days cause my mate found it at his house . Ever since then whenever I wash the bike I double check ALL the important bolts just in case. Any that seem to come loose I use lock-tight when I retighten.
