Hi Guys, would anyone here know where exactly to find the VIN number stamped on a 1996 CG125. Its the Brazilian blue model which was made from around 1996 to 2002 I think. The frame has been powder coated and there is no badge on it, it may need removing a small amount of the powder coating to expose the VIN number so I am trying to find the exact spot. I have examined the headstock but I cant see any engraved VIN but the powder coating is probably too thick anyway. Also could the VIN also be stamped anywhere else on the bike? Great if anyone here is familiar with one of these or can advise me.

just found this answer on another forum, hope this helps.
Yeah, it its on the right hand side of the frame, near to the headstock.
On my 1997 CG125, it was just stamped into the frame by Honda when it was new, and no such VIN 'plate' was attached.
To find the engine number, I'm sure mine was stamped on the left hand side engine case, near the bottom of it (you have to look pretty hard for it actually!) --Mikey B--
