Does anyone have these on their bike?
And if so, do you know anything about reading the date coding system (manufacture date) on them?
Thanks in advance

Find the letters DOT and there several numbers stamped on sidewall use the following info I found on a site to decipher what age the tyre is "For tyres manufactured after the year 1999, the last four numbers identify the date of manufacture of the tyre to the nearest week. The first two of these four numbers identify the week of manufacture (which range from "01" to "52"). The last two numbers identify the year of manufacture (e.g., a tyre with the information "DOT XXXXXX2703” was manufactured in the 27th week of 2003)." Hope this helps

If you're buying a new set, they have the same type of date code as anything else - buy carefully. I have them on my 450.
What I would say though is that even very new tyres (mine were months old) don't seem to last long. They perish and crack quickly, especially the front. I'm going to be changing mine for a set of BT45s prior to the next MOT. They're nice to ride on though, and the added plus is they can be found in the proper imperial sizes. Good for a high miler where the tread will wear out before the compound.
