I brought a job lot of bits on eBay a few weeks ago & it's a SD 400NB there was more bits than I thought & it was lucky it was all in bits & in crates as I only went down in my fiesta the bloke did not think it would all go in but there was no way I was going to leave any there, I wanted my full £86.00 quids worth:) Over the last few weeks I have been going through the crates & boxes & I'm very pleased with the stuff I have, the frame is in a great condition & it came with V5C & I have decided to put it back together over the next year or so, the engine is matching numbers & it's in bits so I'm not sure if I can use it bottom end & gears all ok the bloke said so top end, not sure if I will tackle it or just look out for a 400 engine. there were no wheels included but I have some gold ones which were on the 250 I brought last year (my currant ride) does anyone know if this model is supposed to have gold wheels ? Also on log book it says it's white ! I did not know they did a white one so I will be doing this either Red or Blue. my wife is rolling her eyes now as she was fed up with me while I did the last one

Howdy Ricardo - the 400NB was not sold in white on these shores, only black or red - it must have had a colur change at some stage and the DVLA were notified. Re: wheels.......yes - gold my child.

It appears to hail from the Chester region, originally.

Thanks for info Nick I have a great set of gold wheels I'm so glad I never sold them as I would be kicking myself all the way to the pub if I had flogged them for peanuts only to be looking for a set now. I think it will have to be Red then as I have 2 Black superdreams already

It came with a plastic front mudguard, is this correct I'm not keen on plastic mudguards so I will probably line the pockets of MR silver , I'm not to worried about being totally original just really tidy & to my liking I am looking to get it to the same condition as the one in my aviator photo hopefully but I'm not in a hurry

No - metal on this model mate.... Thanks Nick I'm glad it's supposed to be metal I've never liked the look of the plastic guards I think they make the bike look a bit cheap
