could someone kindly measure the dimension tween the oe front silencer exh stud hanger mount to the front end of the pipe please, also to the "flange" or raised part of the exh stub where it goes in to the oe collector box.........I see in the general thread area someone has an oe system apart at the moment.
Is there a difference in length between the first mounting stud on the silencer mounting bracket and the front flange of the silencer for an OE and a pattern silencer?
problem being intermingling of oe front pipes and collector box with pattern silencers........

I will have a look later Rich- take some photos of the 2 types alongside each other too.
The Brituro silencers I took off GRT, slid off the bracket and out of the socket very easily with the OE balancer box still tightened up- so I assumed these at least are dimensionally the same including the angle of the stub. I will check....

Here we go! NOS Honda silencer on the LHS, Brituro pattern on the right. Other pattern silencers may of course be different again. Executive Summary- they are identical in dimensions except that the pattern silencer is 8mm shorter between the rear mounting stud and the back end. In my photos the pattern silencer is sat on a pad of paper 8mm thick. Inlet stub on both is 40mm dia and 38mm long to the collar. Length from inlet end to the C/L of the first stud is 213mm. Studs are 100mm apart centre to centre. NOS silencer is then 417mm from the C/L of the rear stud to the end of the can, pattern is only 409mm. Third photo shows that mounting point to the bike is in line with the rear mounting stud. Angles- this is where I notice differences even with the NOS silencers and between each side- just look at any SD from the rear and not many have the 2 silencers equidistant from the back wheel. The socket on the balancer box sets the angle of upsweep on the silencer. The angle of the stub on the silencer sets the angle that the silencer kick back in to follow the line of the frame. Last photo- these Brituro pattern silencers are very good and would fool 99% of people. The only thing I have noticed apart from the pop rivets not being painted- easily fixed- is that the 2 drain holes- one just after the stub and the one in the end of the can- are not orientated to the bottom as per the Honda items....

"Equidistant"
I like that word - even though I had to look it up.

It seemed an apt word to use whilst the silencers were adjacent and perpendicular.....

Seems a strange omission when they got everything else right to the smallest detail. Deliberate to avoid Mr Honda claiming unauthorised copy?
