If one had to ride through winter that fairing would be a godsend ,but they do add a lot of weight to a 250

Certainly those fairings are ugly and not aerodynamic.....and certainly not suited to silver variants.
The Invader nose fairing was built for the silver bikes....literally built for them.

I had the Invader panniers on my Silver Superdream back in 1980. Never ever saw another SD with. them. Does anyone else remember these ? Quite good quality from what I remember. Could fit my bike boots into them.

I’m quite sure there is a picture of a set on the forum.
I’ll look around see if I can find it.

Brilliant. Thanks so much. The colour match on my Invader Panniers was very close to the Silver of the bike. I think the reg no was FCY118W and I bought it new. It was bought after I part exchanged it by a middle aged guy who had it for many years. Still have two SD 250s now over 30 years later and they are both in good order and sound like new. ( Oil changes every 1000 miles ).
Thanks Again , Much Appreciated.
Cheers. Pete.
