I just sold my GSXR-750, it was not being used, so it was pointless keeping it (unlike the classics it was not going to gain value!). I imported it when I came back from Texas, and managed to get more than I paid for it new in 2014!. Now I have a chunk of change in my pocket looking for another bike - thinking GT750 or a good GS750 from the late 70's or maybe a nice CB900F.....and other ideas?

Ever tried a beemer GS1150? I was a paid up member of the don't-believe-the-hype brigade until a guy in the next village was selling a "restored" example. I was looking to trade back up to a big bike from the 250 Ninja fun bike I was riding at the time. I was honestly amazed at how good it is on the road, its a heavy bike but superbly balanced at anything walking pace or above - not had the kazooners to venture off road yet! Not yet a bona fide classic but good examples aren't getting any cheaper. Still got mine, doubt I'll be selling it!

I have a Vstrom so do not really need another adventure bike (though arguably I don't need another bike at all ) An old BMW twin might be interesting though....
