I owned a cb350k4 that had had the cafe racer treatment and still maintain that it was one of the sweetest air cooled twins ever made. there are some weak points the cylinder head studs come right up through the rocker cover and are fitted with very specific chrome dome top nuts (check torque regularly) this system can make them prone to top end oil leaks. the twin leading shoe drum is ok by the standards of the day but not so brilliant if your used to modern brakes. not sure there ever was a 250 scrambler (probably wrong, again) but there was a cl360 scrambler (probably for the american market) I dont think honda changed a great deal, bars, tyres, exhausts and maybe rear shocks, so making one from american bits and bobs would seem viable. hope this helps

Yes. Just re-read the discription. Has cl360 exhaust, bars and longer shocks. So cb250 with bits added. Thanks guys, still looks good though. Still interested at the right price.

another thought just occured to me while thinking about my old 350k4, if you do buy one of these bikes be very careful about main engine bearings one of them is a really wierd size with a hole drilled in it for a locating dowel and theyve been obselete for years. Theres probably a forum out there for these bikes (might have a look myself) and owners clubs etc may have a solution but if you need that bearing it can be a major headache.
