Are you going to keep the paneers for your Bonnie Yes I think I will.....they are very useful. You can get quite a volume of stuff in them.

I'm in love! Not with Fungo, I'll hasten to add, but with his access to fantastic bikes. What a life and can anyone join in? I always wanted something like this but ended up with a superdream, not quite the same but very enjoyable. Keep your posts coming Nick. BTW love the scenery which reminds me of the setting of the Harry Bosch books by Michael Connelly which I love.

Thanks Paul. I have to admit, I do like the 2001-2006 Hinckley carb Bonnevilles and what you can do to them.....still love the Superdream obviously. There are some real bargains to be had, bikes that have simply been left in a garage and forgotten about, that said you do have to look for them. The Americans also seem happy to come down from the asking price (normally) and sometimes by quite a lot. Actual cash talks of course... This bike is cleaning up nicely. I really do hate it when the header pipes go bronze / blue, last night I worked on the left pipe, you'll see the difference. Worst thing is that clutch cover, it has the dreaded white spot corrosion under the clear coat. That will be coming off for a strip, polish and re-lacquer within the coming weeks along with the other side (stator) cover. P.S - I'll have to check out those books
