Wow, I'm struggling with this one, all the googling is interfering with searching eBay and looking for CB2050 Part numbers on the internets

Nope (although a Norton rotary engine could be stuck in a hovercraft I guess)

Nope (although a Norton rotary engine could be stuck in a hovercraft I guess) Interesting "With regard to the NORVIL Hovercraft, it had three Norton engines, one for lift and two for thrust. The photograph (circa 1971) shows director John Fallon taking her out on her maiden flight. Pictured behind the left side engine is former craft instructor Roger DeMarco. Two craft apprentices, Messrs Spence and Bond are shown. Mr Spence extreme top right and Mr Bond directly behind John Fallon. Mr Bond approached me some years hence in Dudley High Street and proudly informed him that he was working as an engineering lecturer at Walsall Technical College. Read more at www.blackcountrybugle.co.uk/working-norton-dream-proud-apprentices/story-28011619-detail/story.html#HMQiD3kTO48TOaI0.99" A bit of a red herring on the web - be interesting what engines they used

Norton rotaries found their way into one or two light aircraft I believe, so guessing from there...

I think Vickers was involved with both hovercraft engines and motorcyles guns in side cars, but I'm clutching at straws now.
