Well, been a member here for a few months now. Not ready to buy yet, no funds. Just sold a restored GS1000 but dosh went to the Mrs to do a course. Previous restos were RV125 and a CB750 Police. Still have a GSX250F which I bought as a non-runner. Don't think they sold in the U.K. Australia & Japan only.
Was a young m/c mechanic back in the SD /LC period - 1979-80. Working Saturdays and full time when I left School.
looking to get an early silver 400 or even a 250 if I can't find a 400. Not many seen over here. Will have to document this restoration.
Great site with lots of great info.

Hello and welcome, hope you manage to find an sd in oz, they really are a good bike, we had a member on here from oz, member name bendys, search him out in the members list and find his thread and posts.

Yeah, tried and tried to add images. Haven't worked it out yet.... click on "add image to post" button in the reply box top right. click on the image "drop box" this will open a box to browse your computer, find the image you are looking for, double click and the image and it will upload, next click on the image you have just uploaded and then you alter the size of the photo. next click upload, and the url will be in your reply box. hope this helps. please dont use photobucket. |

Nope. Still can't do it. Says 'upload complete' after re-sizing. I press 'upload' But then nothing.
