My Cb500 has something similar to that breather under the tank. I'm ashamed to say & saved a tenner & cut a piece to shape from a filter I never fitted for an SR125 Gill had a few years ago. Got enough left to do about 50 more replacements This is the silicon brake fluid I use. I think Wazzbo uses the same stuff, but he puts an additive in it which makes it bright purple. I think that's to reduce the braking performance as red ones are so slow he'd be over the handlebars if he pulled the lever too hard. Or maybe it's a trick of the camera, but mine looks fairly clear in the m/cylinder cup. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Automec-DOT-5-Silicone-Brake-Clutch-Fluid-500ml-ABF003/111931576536?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649I've got an unopened bottle you can have if Dave H doesn't put you off, I'll bring it up to the classic car show on Sunday (if the weather doesn't can it)

Its funny that Ian,I used the same stuff in my 250 and it has changed colour over time, it looks like ordinary brake fluid now.

Somehow Chris, this has turned from a deep clean to a nut & bolt restoration!

Somehow Chris, this has turned from a deep clean to a nut & bolt restoration! I thought it was only a restoration when you replaced things? Dave cannot get any brake pipes and ihave cleaned them up nice any way and saving £100 in the process image uploader

Its a wonder its not covered in Bird S4!t under that tree not to close to the sea so not many seagulls and I would prefer to keep it out of the sun and the tree is so thick and tall it hardly gets wet from the rain
