I was 18 in 1992.....and a relaunched MK5 Escort RS2000 was sex to me. God what a sheltered life I lived. that car was a disgrace to the RS name

God what a sheltered life I lived. that car was a disgrace to the RS name Like any old Escort, particularly those wearing an RS badge...worth a fortune now. I sold a 37K mile MK5A (or MK5B if you prefer) around five years ago....wish I hadn't now....it was truly mint and original.

Maybe....
But just imagine if they offered a silver one. I don't think it was ever an option. Would simply not get insured.

Yes I do although I never knew anyone who had one. A bit of a Cosworth beater that. I only ever seen 1 over here and they made the cosworth look like a fiesta with 180mph and nearly 400bhp they in 1990 they left most supercars of the day behind
