I've made up some new tank badges for it today more stripes to make for it and the paint to sort so no time to do it before but I will sort it eventually ,till then it'll get used

This time, you might want to consider using some of that petrol resistant clear lacquer I tested the other month on that purple engine bracket, Tel. I know you are not planning to drop the bike like that again soon - but fuel tank paint / decals should have some protection from general petrol spillages etc anyway.

I remember you putting it on but I can't remember how well it worked ,Dan and one of my mates have also "linked" some two pack aerosols I can use too

thats why Iv'e got a rattle can paint job If I took it into a paint shop and had it done right I'd never ride it again

That's why I left my 400 with it's original paint and "patina" i wouldnt ride it if it as absolutely mint..
I have to sit on the 250 with my legs nowhere near the side panels and tank, I don't want to rub the paint off.. how sad is thatπ€

It did the sun shone the roads were dry and it was just gliding through the twisties it was great allthough i was'nt going very fast (not on new rubber ) it was still brilliant
