Just clocked the reg plate - A40 LWK This bike has forum form - it's ringing big bells. I,m pretty sure I saw this bike in Matlock bath a few years ago , if so I got talking to the owner and he was thinking of selling , he seemed quite genuine , I,ll check as I did take a few photo,s of the bike ! |

The guy I spoke to was a forum member at the time though I don't think he had a lot of posts , pretty sure this is the bike check , mirrors , bar ends and front muddy  |

The guy I spoke to wanted considerably less than that , I think he was considering buying a bandit or similar .... Looked a good clean bike for what he was asking to be honest ....

Why do people spend a lot of money have lovely paintwork and often get the decal positioning wrong. It's obviously a common misunderstanding when paint shops don't research the tank properly 😢 It's because they put the tank decals on with the tank on a table, they need to be put on with the tank in situ |

I think we all discussed this machine on either this or the former forum.
From memory, the vin and engine confirmed it as a very late NA.....we all discussed the mystery behind it.
I'm pretty sure the thread is on here somewhere but it would be around 3 years ago.

Well done Fungster i was pretty sure it was the bike I,d seen in Matlock , okay not original , he told me he,d accept £800 I think and for that kind of money for a bike abuser like me I reckon that was a good buy , it was tidy and the engine back then was as sweet as a nut , but two and a half grande your having a giraffe ....
