You missed Friday evening on BBC1. The Virginian Think I was "grown" up by time that appeared ( Thought I was anyway) First memory I have of TV was watching Russian tanks invading Czechoslovakia in 1958? Then early kids TV Muffin the Mule,Torchy,and Twizzle etc.etc. When I was that age things had moved on.....the wodden tops |

Then early kids TV Muffin the Mule,Torchy,and Twizzle etc.etc. 1968 Dave on the 21st of August (You're younger than you think Dave) I only remember because it was my birthday  I were a big lad then,nearly 15 and had stopped watching a lot of tv,I even missed the best program ever Dads Army,only watched it in 90s when my eldest son had the videos.Interest in scooters started around then too so was out riding round waste ground and old railway line on scooters and mopeds |

i stopped watching alot of telly when i bought my first bike,a 350 AJS TAND WENT UNDER BACK WHEEL AND IT WAS VERY HEAVY THOSE WERE THE DAYS,I WAS OUT ON IT ONE DAY AND THE THROTTLE CABLE SNAPPED A POLICE MAN ON A LE VELO PULLED UP AND SAID ARE YOU OK SON.EXPLAINED WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND HE SAID OK AND OF HE WENT,GOOD JOB HE DIDNT ASK FOR A LISCENSE I WAS 13
