Hello everyone, I'm new to this site. Have owned my 1979 CB250N for 3 years now. Only bought it as a work hack from a mate and it hasn't let me down yet. It's the one bike I said I'd never own but here we are and can honestly say it's been my most reliable bike ever. Hi steve welcome to our merry band of Superdreamers  I noticed in your list if bikes u had a couple of TZR'S my mate raced one at the 88 TT and his young fella has just just got a blue jap import and in the middle of a restoration at the moment I will put picture on of it when finished |

Have recently replaced the cam chain and lapped in valves while I was there. Bores looked good (oversize pistons in before I owned it,so recent work done I guess). Previous owner changed the oil every 500 miles religiously and owner before had similar traits. Both wrote down mileage and dates when done. Sounds good for 34000 miles.
Had the front brake bind last week so have rebuilt that now, along with the master cylinder. Brakes much improved 😁
