not to bad in the sunny isle of man about 3-4 C all morning lying under my range rover doin hub seals discs and pads that soon warmed me up then fired up the fireblade and went for spin about 15 miles and I was freezing then the SD did 35 miles before I was freezing that's the advantage of the SD being slower--- you can ride it longer before u freeze lol and tomorra mates coming out with his carb balancer he got of father xmas to tune SD carbs

Been out on the Burgman sleet/snow 1c,the Burgman is great in this weather I've stuck a taller/wider Givi screen on for more protection and also a backrest yet to fit.Wish I'd bought one of these maxi scoots years ago so practical.

dry and bitter here in IOM just back from ride on SD just around the north of island about 25 miles of B roads then out on the Blade . I have never road my bikes in the winter months before just started them up and run them ,it just goes to show what a good winter we have had over here this year.!When I got my SD I was worried I would not use it and always want to ride the Blade but it is totally the other way round, as soon as I get a free half hour brum brum of on the SD I cannot wait till the summer. When I got back home there was a parcel in porch- my new chemistry set!(plating kit)
going to try and do up a set of carbs like new!!

Better start filling my top box with stuff for plating! . Our car broke down at the beginning of November & we've been without one since, so we've got used to using the bikes this winter. With little prospect of it being fixed, we bought a cheap run around a couple of weeks ago & since then we've turned into pussies & a couple of times we've said it was too cold & used the car. Today was one of those days

That's whats a car for the winter...can never get over how much the winter wrecks your bike if your commuting...I get home knackered and just cant be bothered to look at them and next thing "its spring and the finish is gone"... Sure their is a song there somewhere... My white Panda is black at the minute number plate is starting to disappear..I'm never worried about the condition of the car, but just hate dirty windscreens, mirrors, as I like to see what I am doing...Before you all start about dirty number plates, I used to chuck mud at the bike plates when I was a lad, so a real rebel. Used to irritate my dad because he was a copper lol...
