Look at that rusty Transit- must be weeks old! Off topic but I was considering recently , my first car was a 1970 Mk1 Ford Escort for £300 ( should have kept it I know!) but it was a wreck in 1979 ,welded sills , holes in the floor , moth eaten rear arches , pattern front wings etc at nine years old ! A 2008 car now would shine up quite well . Did bikes age as quickly , I remember painting my 1978 Honda XL125 swingingarm when it was only about six months old as the paint had fallen off , didn't even think about it at the time .

Yeah I remember cars not being built very well in the 1970's.
My earliest memory is being carried out of the back of an Austin 1100 and part of the bodywork fell out on the drive as we all got out of it.

I don't think bikes were much better, I had to replace both cans & the front muddy on my '76 CB250G5 by 1979, they'd rusted out. By '82 I was having trouble with the fuel tank filter clogging up with rust from the tank seams & the forks were pitted. The first owner used it for commuting for 2 years, then I just used it for occaisional ride outs on dry days. Honda's cars were no better - my dad bought a new Civic in '76. I replaced the rusty front wings 3 years later

Part of me is wondering if #21 to #40 will ever get released.
Maybe. Maybe not....who knows? It may not be a go-er.
# 21 to # 40.
