Looks like Superdreams weren't the only things that didn't get to Wales The question is......will we get there again in 2017 do you think, Ian? I've had a succession of sh*t hours/shifts jobs in 2015/16. I managed to get to Wales in 2015 after begging and pleading (and licking ar*e) for the Sunday off - but that is now all behind me.....eff that..... So this coming year, I am hoping to be a lot more committed. That's the plan anyway. |

The question is......will we get there again in 2017 do you think, Ian? I certainly hope so Nick, we really enjoyed our meet in 2015 & would love to meet again & I'm sure we can get a few more interested,. Its just getting a date that suits everyone that's the problem |

Ha ha the weather on the way into Wales was diabolical & I got caught in that downpour as well Nick, let's hope we the weather is kinder to us, the weather turned out great for the weekend & fun was had by all who attended:)

Yes some of us got wet on the way there - I recall the heavens opened in Aberyswyth but after that it was great. Soon dried out!!! What's the situation with the bunk house now, can you remind us? |

It's a pity it didn't come off this year 'cos the weather was brilliant. The same date in September coincided with that hot spell when temperatures in parts of the country hit 30 degrees! We met up with fordy on the Saturday & had a great ride down to St David's on some superb roads. Of course the weather in September 2017 is set to be even better!  As for the Level Crossing, it was open again while we were there, so we popped in to see the new landlady. She's running it just as it was, hopefully it'll work out for her. |

Finished work for Christmas on Thursday, as a start to the Christmas festivities a group of us from the local pub go down to London on “The Cheese Run” – a critical mission to buy the Christmas cheese board – but as this is such hard work we need to stop frequently for “liquid refreshment” – for obvious reasons no SDs invited
Day started, 09:33 train to London – breakfast in a caff in Euston where all the Taxi drivers frequent
Start out here
And key target is Neal’s Yard, probably the best “British” produced cheese specialist in London
Saw this which would have been a good add to the SD and phone boxes thread if I had been on the bike
But not sure it now qualifies
For those that don’t know Borough Market – you can buy almost any food cooked or ingredients
After a few more pubs, off to China Town for a Chinese before getting the late train back
Christmas has begun in my household
