Ok Guys she needs some light restoration work but this is my CB400T II Hawk / Dream Hopefully it will end up as a Helios red Dream (I know but my old one was helios red) Couple of rust spots to sort out and some minor engine faults I didn't pay much for her but traveled 400 mile round trip to pick it up, this was the best i could afford so!, But I have restored allot worse in the past. I have side panels off a 250T and a generator cover, & I should with any luck have another engine monday to rebuild for this bike. I need forks, headlamp, mudguards, and bars. going to try to get it stripped this weekend and make a start on it. I am on a tight budget but have a friend with a spray shop and i'm handy with a spanner and polishing equipment so all should go well. The Bike started off in Iowa USA sold by greenfields honda then was imported in about 1989 and last M.O.T test expired 2011 then I bought it from Cornwall and brought it to Bournemouth.

Hey Pete, I can see you're a glass half full person One thing with these bikes, everything is fixable so you'll get there.

Blimey - fair play.
Looks like you got a RHS down pipe on the LHS. Also she is wearing CB400A bodywork - unless she is a 400A?
Welcome Pete.

Hi Did you buy this Bike on Ebay? I seem to recognise the Pics and put this CB400 on my Watch List.
I also have a CB400N and am looking out for a Replacement Engine.
Regards

Good luck with the rebuild.
