Nice looking bike John, a later one I assume (I don't know the models well at all!)
The exhaust is certainly novel. As for scrambler or not, if you want to ride the big mileage you mentioned including Land's end to John o G I would think a standard roadster would be far more comfortable. What expensive Honda parts do you need?

great pictures, they make me feel like I want to go on holiday to Greece immediately!!! The pictures are from my Tannery, I am in the process of renovating an 180 yo warehouse and using it as a private Pub and guest house. If you make it to Samos with your SD you are my guest. Cheers

What expensive Honda parts do you need? The exhaust is not practical at all. It is routed under the crankcase and makes the bike very low. It also makes a terrible noise. I will change it as soon as I have the 280 euro for a new one. There is a company that makes 2-1 in stainless steel. The model is 1984 European Direct Sales. It has an 18 inch wheel and different rims. As far as I know it is a rare model in Greece and Europe in General. I don't know what parts I will need yet. I am just in the process of making it run well. I am changing fork seals at the moment (there was thick oil and water in the forks) and expecting throttle cables soon. Cheers

And yes I think you are correct about the standard roadster part Cheers
