Sorry - out on the Triumph today (did about 40 miles) and passed the phone boxes on way back through town so thought I would post a Johnny Foreigner bike in the thread

Speed Twin...my second bike after the cub. That truly is a lovely example. I sold my 1959 5TA back in '72 and it's still on the road.

Close - TwentyOne - for those who done know, so named as the engine is 350cc (21 Cubic Inches) - but well done it is 1959 - and today was the first time I rode it with NO MOT

12 Miles on the SD and a stop on the way back, that's the Triumph and the SD, only the Beeza left

No phone boxes, or SDs, but some pics of my 3TA from 25 years ago. First, as bought. I bought it at Stafford, dismantled it & brought it back to the Island in the boot of my car!The one & only picture of the rebuild And this is as far as I got, I moved house shortly after & sold it - yet another I wish I'd kept.....

Like the colour scheme - what year was it - with a distributor would it originally had a bath tub?

Can't remember what year it was Pete. I think it should have had a bathtub, but I'm ashamed to say I junked the bathtub on my Tiger Cub in the 60s

Well, as a penance for posting photos that contained neither phone boxes or SDs in a thread entitled 'Superdreams & Phone Boxes, I thought I'd better find a phone box today Not my usual destination for a ride out, so a carried on 'till I found something more like it I'll hang on to the phone box photo in case there's ever a thread Superdreams & post boxes', or Superdreams & rubbish bine'
