I received a parcel this morning from no other than 'living the superdream'.....doubling up as Kernow Salvage in the South West of England. So what do you reckon it is? And why did I buy it? Those of an 'enterprising' nature will take time to properly analyze the item though the bubble wrap. First correct answer will receive jack shite with bells on.

So take a chance now. Which one? Speedo or Tach?

Spot on mate......spot on. I am truly gobsmacked. You are as clever as you look. But as a Brucie Bonus.....can you guess why I got it? Before you answer, I will upload a further pic - so hold your horses for just a minute if you would.

So it's a speedo....we have established that. But why have I bought this for 20 quid? Surely they are 'ten a penny' thus a cheaper one could of been had. ?

Replacement for your CB400NA, it perhaps has the wrong one fitted?

is it the same mileage as one of your bikes? Yes Dave. So the drill and speedo cable will come out in order to match the current miles on my CB400NA (in case it ever fails). 1500 miles down on this - not a huge journey via a black and decker. When done, a very useful and identical spare.

Can I ask a general knowledge question, which was the model of the CB250N started using the red faced clocks, rather than the green? NB? or NDB?

Black background and red and white detailed instruments - unique to CB250/400NB-NDB.

Ok thanks for that, thought all my instruments were green, but seem to have one red 250 set.

Do you put the drill in reverse to take the miles off or do you run until the clock turn over to 00000 (100k) and the get to your mileage. Thanks carl
