Hi Phil nice pics I remember the pic of the blue Superdream from the last forum we were all trying to identify the old cars in pic !
The first pic on Weston beach I see it's on the center stand on what appears sand ! Or was it hard underneath ?

The part of the new restoration that I'm actually most pleased with was to finally get rid of that horrible Two into One Motad Exhaust and replace it with an all new Twin Exhaust system. Not the cheapest thing I've ever done but although the Motad Exhaust that I had was in great condition it just looks wrong and ruins the look and sound of the bike. I bit the bullet and started to get all the parts needed. you would thing that it would be fairly easy to get the parts but at the time it turned out that you could no longer buy the collector box anywhere and when a good second hand one appeared on Ebay they were fetching crazy prices home and abroad. And as for a set of Heat shields in good condition with good chrome, well you have more chance of catching a flying Pig. Some of the crappy Collector Boxes on Ebay I looked at were just a joke, They had more Welded patches than a 1980's Ford Cortina. I however managed to strike it very lucky indeed by searching the internet by part numbers. I stumbled upon a guy in Wisconsin USA selling the Collector Box along with the Heat Shields for a great price and had them delivered to my door for far less the rusty welded up crap being sold on Ebay. Now just my luck in the last month or two I've noticed that because of the prices and rarity that people have seized the opportunity and you can actually get the collector box new over here in the UK again. Trust My Crappy luck !!! Mind you a decent set of heat shields are still as rare as hens teeth. Of course to make up the twin exhaust setup on the bike you also need to find the Mounting Brackets (which everyone must have binned out at some time in the past). Also your going to need the four Heat Seals for the Collector Box, Four Clamps, Two Downpipes, and the Rear Exhaust Pipes themselves. I know Its a big expensive job but I had to do it. The twin Exhausts transform the look of the bike so much let alone making it sound the way it was intended to. Money well spent I think but the Mrs doesn't seem to agree with me......................

Ok then here are a couple of photos of the bike as it sits now as of a few days ago. There are actually a couple of things that I plan on changing in the not to distant future but more on that later.

Hopefully by looking at the photos you'll agree with me about the electroplating and twin exhausts really making a big difference to the overall look and finish of the bike?

Blimey I'm getting old and forgetful and that was many years ago, lol Pretty sure it was just on compacted sand though.

Lol my Mrs kept saying that with all the chemicals and distilled water going back and forth let alone the smells coming from the garage the neighbors are likely to report me to the police for making Crystal Meth or some other dodgy substance.
