I have that problem with my glasses, the pinlock keeps the visor clear but I still have to open it a bit when in traffic or on really damp humid days to stop the specs fogging. I can see OK without them but with having a medical for my HGV licence every 5 years the eye test results are recorded on my licence ( they put 01 next to every class of vehicle on my licence)so its an offence if I'm caught driving/ riding while not wearing them.

Well Chris I've been out and given it a run not really a fair test as my bikes loud but wind noise with all vents open I could hear it but it was'nt distracting at all with the vents closed it was fainter but I was getting noise from the visor as I had to open it a bit. top vents are easy to open and close with either hand same with the rear vent the front vent is a bit fiddly with gloves on. The fastener was annoying me at first its not a double D its one of those push in ratchet type things with a buckle for adjustment there is quite a lot of stap left over after I'd adjusted it to suit me and the free end was banging on the side of the helmet so I pulled over and took the free end back over the buckle and threaded it back through the other side so the free end was now facing the other way and locking the buckle at the same time, result no more banging .One other minor quibble the lining feels a bit harsh on my skin I need a shave so that was'nt helping ,I have read on the net that it softens up a lot after the liner has had it's first wash .All the lining is removeable so cleaning it wont be a problem overall the helmet is light about 1400 grams I think it said and with the aerodynamic shape it's easy to forget you are wearing it. I'm pleased with it it looks good fits well and it's a safe helmet as well ,mine was cheap as it's old stock this years model is selling at £99 to £119 depending who you get it from looking at the specs on GetGeared (theres usually an ad for them on here at the top of the page) for this year you still get the ECE and DOT standards and Sharps 5 star but the ACU is'nt mentioned but Snell is .So there you have it I'd give it 7.5 out of ten ,if the lining does soften in the wash then that will make it an 8

i have noticed that with new helmets, they really compress your head, where it does become uncomfortable.
