Sorry to the few that are chasing me for decal sets. Long and complicated journey to get the lighter blue closer on the (silver) NB/NDB sets as I was not happy with it - and as well as the light blue, the dark blue was altered with no need......arrgghh..... Still thrashing it out - these guys are snowed under right now with regards to producing new sets. If anyone is in an extreme rush for the orange or grey themed NB/NDB sets then you will have to shop elsewhere I'm afraid. But remember that old saying.......what's worth waiting for is worth waiting for.

Message for Fungo........... And don't fall off the stool in shock....
Been a very busy chap of late with running the business and holding down a full-time job as well, but it hasn't dampened my enthusiasm for the SD in any way - she is still tucked up nice and warm in the conservatory where I can admire her every day. I know I should get out and ride her, but time for me is a precious commodity at the moment and I have only just got around to having the Pan fixed after it ate itself 2 years ago!!
Anyroad - How are you young fella? I am still in need of a couple of decal sets as we discussed some while back. Been reading through various posts but have lost the plot as to what is what and where is where........
You may recall...... I need a set of NB for the Candy Bourgogne and a set for the NDB Tanzanite Blue. Before you shut up shop for good........
Let me know the damage my good fellow and I will cross your palm with paper.
The Tupperware may not get fettled anytime soon, but if I don't stash these away now then I might just as well give up all hope for the future....
Pip pip!!!!

Hi Mate,
Hope you are well and it is great to hear from you. We all know you have been a busy man and I for one understand - hope you and Flo are well.
Funny you mention this now as I went to the printer (in Birmingham) just before Christmas to pick up decals for Bodie and Marti and he is now just about to commence work on the orange 250NB/NDB sets.....there have been many delays.....(sigh).....
Rest assured he still has a few of your parts there that you kindly lent me - the metallic red and metallic blue seat tailpieces and side panels which I promise you will get back in due course.
How you been son?

P.S - there will be no charge to you Carl - don't be silly.
You have lent key components in order to make it happen, so all I ask is that you continue to bear with me a bit longer. Will hopefully get all three remaining NB/NDB sets finished by spring at the latest.

OK - back again!
That's very generous of you my good man - but I simply cannot accept. This venture has cost you and my input has been negligible in comparison - the donation of the panels was for the good of all and I simply wont see you out of pocket. To me, the prices you were quoting earlier were well beyond fair and, to be honest, I was expecting them to be a lot higher.
Let's discuss this matter over a pint when the warmer weather allows us to venture beyond our shores on two wheels instead of four. I take it you are still around Stratford way? There is no hurry... I was just a tad worried that I had missed the boat! Those shots you posted above really are SD porn to be frank - you really should be commended for your tenacity.
How have I been? Run ragged is probably a good description! The model boat venture takes up most of my spare time what with shows in the latter half of the year, customer orders trickling in and development of new kits. We have a show to attend in Dortmund, Germany in April and I need to get our latest offering to a stage where it is presentable for that so I am spending a fair bit of time in the workshop at the moment....which is a tad chilly to say the least! I pick up the Pan next Saturday from a chap near Norwich who has kindly rebuilt her following the mishap in France a couple of years ago - looking forward to riding her back to be honest! Still have the XS too - in the conservatory next to the SD, but the PCX has gone to the son of the chap who rode with me to Austria on the SD's back in 1982.
I was sorry to read of your excitement with the Jellymould..... rather a hair-raising adventure to say the least! Always keep a powder extinguisher handy in the workshop my friend - always!!! Not expensive - especially compared to what COULD have happened. I hope you have managed to rectify everything and that normal service has been resumed. Did SWMBO have anything to say on the matter?
You take care my friend!!! Let's have that shandy when the sun shines eh?

Certainly up for a get together any time Carl.....say the word, and we will make it happen.
Do you mind if I (or you) bump those wonderful 1980's pictures you uploaded a year or so ago on here again? I reckon a lot of the newer members may have missed them and will love them like we did - the ones with you and your mates riding around the London area on their SD's and of course the 80's trip abroad......such awesome pictures.

Hmmmm.....here's hoping. Photof*cket shafted us last year so will try my best. Bear with me. Aye - I noticed that. Luckily, I use it for our business so I was paying for hosting anyway so all my images are still readable. Really dont want to have to move to another provider as there must be 3000+ images on there (which is what PB were banking on folk doing when they slapped the charges on).

Fungobat, has there been any development with the candy red decals that you have spent so much time with chasing your printer. Regards, Paul.
