on another site i go on a member of this site has rely chucked the teddy out the cot,he put a bike on the site so members had first refusal ,he as had the bike for a number of years not a high value item in the condition it was in.a member purchased the bike and intended to restore to a high standard but over time he found it beyond him and sold it on. two years as now past and its now appeared on a auction site restored to a very high standard and at a very high price , a price that it will sell for.he is saying he sold it on way below what it was worth to a fellow enthusiast to keep it with enthusiasts .my opinion is when you sell an item you have no say what happens after.someone has put a great deal of time and money to get this bike to this standard why is it a problem he reads the rewards.what do you think

When someone sells something the association is finished then and there.
Its just tough luck if someone does a better job for a higher reward, any comments other than "well done" are just sour grapes in my opinion!!

I agree once it's sold it belongs to someone else and if the guy who eventually bought it put a lot of work in to restore it then he should reap the rewards. At the end of the day if the first guy was so attached to it why sell it in the first place.

When its sold ,forget it, you gain nothing by getting wound up if someone has made a profit, it sounds like the buyer has put a lot of work and cash into restoring it to a high standard and believe me, it will have cost him plenty to get it to a high standard, as I well know having restored one bike and started on another,. He'll be lucky if he gets anywhere near what it has cost him to restore it.
So whoever you are get on with your life and forget about it.
