I wasn't going to mention the allen key It did have potential , the bodywork was good and clean , the alloy needed cleaning up and the rest was ok , chrome not perfect my feeling was there was that you would have to do quite a lot of work to get it to the standard it is now . Sorry it took so long fungo and co but the truth of the matter is that krp and 5 others had to go missing for a while during my divorce....i couldnt risk posting pics just in case....anyway all is sorted and all the bikes are with their daddy...lol

Sorry it took so long fungo and co but the truth of the matter is that krp and 5 others had to go missing for a while during my divorce....i couldnt risk posting pics just in case....anyway all is sorted and all the bikes are with their daddy...lol safe and sound.  |

Yes - as Boje has indicated it was an embarrassing episode for me.
In a nutshell I obtained a NOS CB250/400N toolkit some years before. But Boje bought up the subject of the missing allen key when I showed a picture of what my toolkit contained. As it was sealed and NOS when I got it, I was under the impression that all CB250/400N toolkits should not / did not contain an allen key from new.
I was Pete Tong. Seems the bike that had the toolkit supplied with them from new contained and allen key - but the NOS supplied item did not. I promptly recommended that Boje should bin the allen key - to which he did - and if my memory serves me correct it's in a field behind his house - awaiting the archeologists to unearth it.
