Not for me it wasn't, 1991, economy in a hole, out of work, not a penny in my pocket, one pair of jeans and one pair of shoes, their soles worn thin, I could feel the gravel under my feet, dole money was going on rent, food, CVs, envelopes and stamps, and bits of bikes to keep me from cracking up. I more or less have been fully employed since February 2002.

My car test was September 1991 having failed the first one in the July.......for speeding just 2 mins out of the test centre. My examiner looked like Kilroy Silk......put me on edge. The best drivers pass second time......er, yeah. I gained my full bike licence after a soggy week long intensive course in October 1996.......on a school SR125.

I've been lucky taking tests I did them all first time, one of the best feelings ever passing these tests
