Just came back from holiday on our trusted old CB500s, we have been to the basque country on the border between France and Spain. We had a lovely trip apart from a wet ride down to Portsmouth ferry port and an even wetter ride home to West Wales from there on Friday!

Great picture & sounds like a great adventure. Went to Ireland on my cb500 last week - was wondering about a screen like yours, were they effective?

I quite like a screen for a bit of protection from the elements, we did have full fairings on the CB500s for a while but we took them off again and went back to original.

Thats not a red 81W by any chance? What fairing did you have on the cb500

As a Superdream & cb500 owner, I think that photo is terrific! My 500 had a fairing too, but after rebuilding it, I didn't fancy putting all that weight back on

The red SD is an 82X (deluxe), the fairings were by a company called TCP aerodynamics, I am not sure they are still available.
