Is anyone going to the classic TT this year? I'm going over with a couple of mates on 26th Aug, would be good to meet up with anyone from the forum.  |

Er, I'm going! Think Loz is over too, with the fizzy boys. Would be great to meet up. Where you staying, Douglas or out of town somewhere?

I'm staying in Douglas, I'll be the one on the noisy KLR 650 with red ammo box on the back, and my 2 friends are on a 57 Norton and a cafe racer 400/4. I'm taking KLR so I can carry the Norton's tools and spares  It would be good to meet some of the forum... Sorry stupid question, what's a fizzy mate? |

"what's a fizzy mate?" You're either old like me, or a youngster - it's a Yamaha FS1e all the 50 somethings learned to ride on. Or maybe NI didn't have the moped law for 16 year olds - they didn't here, so 50cc mopeds never caught on; you can drive any bike or a car at 16 here.
I'll pm you my phone number & we arrange a meet - probably one of the events everybody goes to like Jurby?

Managed to get a couple of rides up to the grandstand this weekend, before the rain came in. Quite a few bikes arrived now & all the pit garage crews busy prepping the bikes. Got a few pics today (forgot the camera yesterday)  Reminds me of the CB250G5 I used to have.   Ok, this one's got 4 wheels, but most of us (except Scott) must have had one of these, or a mate who had one  Here's one for Scott, to make up for that  And our bikes were there too, of course   |

Great day out today with a ride up to Laxey to watch the VMCC gathering for a run. Lots of nice bikes - too many photos to post here, but are a few of my favourites   Regret selling my 500/4, but love that 450 twin. Another one I'd take home:  This was a bit different,   And a lovely bantam  Found a couple of 'our' bikes  Met this lady last year, she was on a Honda 90, but this year she came on her 250 Dream  Apparantly, her fella has had it 35 years, paid £150 for it. Then up to the grandstand for a coffee & more bikes, including more goldies than you could shake a stick at  Some nice fissys   These 2 were there again!  There was also a 'pop up' Norton museum with examples from 1906 to present  |

great pics,the two fizzy'z and a100 belong to looy and lance,they are comeing straight from the iom to the eagle meet,did you spot the one into two allspeeds on the white and gold fizzy,it sounds and go's really very well,good for the late 60's
