Nether been a car man have them through nasesaty but I did like the my mg mastro more grunt than the xr3 and the mastro turbo was the fastest car of its day mine was a stolen recuverd put a city interior in it and left the city badge on the tailgate looked just like the one in the pic top car for ramrading built like tanks and lots of room happy days

That one looks like an MG Maestro 2.0 EFI (1990)......so probably not that old when it was taken.....digital dash etc.

I wonder why they did not Nick a proper car though I cannot think of a worse car to drive :/. - maybe they were easy to steal They were......the company I worked for in the early nineties had at least five Montegos and a couple of Maestros nicked overnight from hotels (over a period of time)....coat hanger to gain entry? Then probably the cowling was smashed off around the ignition in order to hot wire. Steering lock must have also been a breeze to crack I guess.

I had a 1,3 maestro in the early 90`s went all over with it ,even towed a caravan with it,it was a gutless begger.

On one of my early nineties cars I had a 'sparkrite' alarm........caused me quite a few sleepless nights....no bugger was genuinely trying to nick it sadly.
