Can you imagine if that happened here? I think it did around 2000.......a jumbo crashed carrying cargo up in Hertfordshire - I think it was Korean air - since then I think they were banned from flying in our airspace. Will try and find it....
Sorry to hijack the thread, Rooster. As you were.

be sure to keep the battery level by compensating the angle with gravity as during take off and landing! Yes otherwise this could happen........cargo shift just after take off....horrendous crash.

Scary stuff, I thought first it was animated, after watching it a few times and reading the comments, it's real. I feel sorry for they guys in the plane as well as their families who presumably believed in what they were doing and as they saw it they were doing their job and died a horrible death. I also feel sorry for the hundreds of thousands of ordinary people and their children in the middle east in about five countries who have died horrendous deaths in many ways, bombs dropped on their villages, schools, hospitals etc. Most of these people are poor or ordinary and have done nothing wrong. Almost everyone who dies in these oil wars on both sides are either good people trying to get on with living and rearing their families or would be good people who are in some way drafted or drift in to the armies on both sides to make a living and maybe hope to get a trade and come out alive, be they from the east or the west. I think the only winners in these recent wars are the big business oil dealers and oil merchants as well as the billionaire arms manufactures and arms dealers who need these wars to stay in business and make their blood profits, they don't care who wins or looses so long as the wars continue and they make huge profits on the arms sales, they have less ethics than drug dealers. Many of the big arms dealers sell to both sides, and the big dealers are mostly from powerful countries, Russia, China, USA, UK, France, Germany, Sweden etc, The Americans, Russians and Chinese are the most ruthless and will sell to anybody who pays them. These recent middle east wars are not clearly defined as a good side and a bad side, there are good and bad on both sides. The middle east wars of the last 12 years are totally different from the second world. In World war 2, the Nazis were clearly the bad side and had to be stopped. I first figured the nature of war observing the troubles in Northern Ireland, going for spins with my uncle who delivered food to restaurants all over Ireland. I remember watching poor under employed catholic and poor under employed protestants of very similar working class backgrounds throwing rocks and bottles over walls at each other in the poor areas, and they each flying their own flags (Tri colours and Union Jack). Then a few miles away on the same evenings seeing wealthy catholic and wealthy protestants going to the opera together, drinking and dining in the golf club houses, counting their profits, and laughing and joking about the poor fighting each other a few miles away, and commenting on how good of a job the politicians Adams, Paisley, McGuiness and Donaldson were doing at keeping the poor fighting each other. I remember one guy who worked in banking boasting saying that his career would be safe so long as the poor could be kept busy fighting each other and not have time to lift their heads and look beyond their on streets. Most people believe the version of events provided by the media of the country they live in which does not enlighten us to the deeper causes of wars. I think us humans as a species are the stupidest species on the planet. I think as a species we will go extinct within a few hundred years and it will be a good thing for Mother Earth!

We have established that your bike does not have a jet engines and we have successfully eliminated the possible cause being cargo inside your carrier box moving around and causing the bike to wheelie to high and then the petrol to splash around in the carburettor and somehow cause a possible explosion as the bike stalls. So a lot of progress really if you look at it in a positive way.

Just curious, could an SD be jump started of a 12 volt car van battery, or would that risk doing any damage to the SD alternator or electrics ?

The ss is the starter solenoid, and bridging is when you use a cable or a screwdriver to short across the terminals so as to bypass the solenoid to see if its the starter motor or the solenoid that's at fault
