Bloody hell (no pun intended ) is Death as well.  This could be God 's long lost black deluxe, slightly down at heel in 2014. Nice find. It being an IOW bike , does the reg have the obligatory DL in it ? |

That's right mate, I didn't realise it's local importance was so widely known, just thought it was us yokels :-) it really caused a stir over here when we lost it and got given HW instead.

As a nipper, I had many a holiday on the IOW with my parents......a mate of my dad's owned a lovely holiday home on Sandown sea front. I vividly remember seeing the QE2 one summer sailing across - looked a huge thing even though it seemed quite far out. Anyway, regarding the DL in the reg........I was an anorak for vehicle number plates even back then...........noticed that near enough every motor I was seeing had this in the reg. |

It is nice over here, seaside and countryside everywhere :-) I gave the chrome on the right hand side a clean up. That on the left is so much worse but i'll attempt that tomorrow. Changed the air filter. Removed the old throttle tube and fitted a new one. It was full of hard grease and quite stiff. Replaced the throttle cables and clutch cable which appear to be ok, but very dry and dusty. The choke cable housing was buggered so too the one off the old superdream, greased it up and that is fitted too.     |
