Ok outlaying that sort of cash if you can recoup a bit by setting up business,lot of competition and hard to get established these days

If you are good at what you do, people will travel to see you and recommend you...it has never fazed me. I would use it as a small business to recoup the costs, but that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to clean bike parts with it...but cant justify the costs as Paul also found out. Gee.

Very true my brother is in car repairs and survives on returning customers and undercutting competitors.Funny old lot car/bike restorers though they don't like newbies and favour established services and travel miles to use them

Lidl are doing two wire brushes for 5 euro this weekend, just add elbogrease and stamina.

Vapor blasting give you a shinier finish than sand or elbow grease. Bye all means knock yer self out and give the elbow grease a go yourself. Cheers. Gee.

Just got my carbs back from the vapour blaster and I am well pleased, I don't know whether to polish the tops or just leave as is.
