Nice- his driveway nearly as long as yours! Is that a very nasty fuel spill on a non-lacquered tank?

On reflection it could be either......
There's no doubt that the bike is not exactly a showpiece......but the soundtrack is good. I am now onto my sixteenth watch with only the sound on and the image turned off....
But I should be writing an essay on Grey Fleets so this really won't do........grrrr.

Nah- not a reflection it's there whatever the angle. Tank is f**ked paintwise- look at the front of it as well. He can maybe put the proper decals on it next time. Sounds nice though- I may ride YJS around the warehouse in sympathy!

If you do (decide to ride YJS today on your office table), please share it with your SD buddies.

Grey Fleets- always the insurance that trips people up.... Yes indeed - and maintenance is an issue....and what checks are in place to ensure a driver actually has a licence to drive?
All questions to be asked, Crouchy......
Do you have an element of Grey Fleet in your organisation, by the way?

No, we have to have a certain standard of vehicle for the client- mostly vans anyway. And the vans are not used to even get the workforce to and from home.
Just dealing with an associated problem actually. What do the books say regarding declaring motor accidents in company vehicles when arranging insurance for your own private car? Nobody does around here.....

In what way do you mean?
A private car is a private car and a company car is a company car. In what way (in your case) have the two interacted?
The issue with the private vehicle is that they are generally only covered for driving to and from a permanent place of work - no business use. If business use is required, it will be quoted as an additional extra by the insurance company - when they have assessed the risk from your mileage as well as other things, I suppose.

I have just re-read the question and think I may now have a better understanding of it.
Do you mean declaring an accident that took place in a company van (for example) to your private car insurer (for example)?
If so, I am guessing they will want honesty but as you say, will rarely get it. On paper, it should of course be declared.
'Any accidents in the last five years, sir?'.
We hear it all the time, don't we?

They reckon there are more than a million uninsured drivers in the UK.
Makes you think........

The sooner every thing is on computer the better, even the driving license details for a particular vehicle.
