At last back on the road! MOT & Taxed today . Still running temporary wheels (will fix those next year and putting the originals back on with new tyres), and needing some side panel decal stripes. The pristine original tail cowl and side panels are in a safe place for a future fettle. These side panels are a third set I'm keeping on whilst working fine tuning things. Just needing general servicing and a bit of cleaning and preserving for now. Shall be put away for the winter now to avoid that nasty salt! Intention she shall be a fair weather runner, for a while, she's only got 3600 miles on the clock, will add perhaps another 6000 (that could be a few years!) and the restore her to original finish again. Next is to get the CB400F2 back on the road, in parallel with another lowered CB250NA (for the daughter, which is way behind schedule, but then her doing her bike test is as well ).

John, I am sure I have some pretty decent NA rear wheels if you need a loan of one.
Infact there is a rather good one on my Dream that's not been taken off yet.
Gee.

Looks nice John.
Loz sent me a panel with the 250NA decal on (silver version like yours) - hopefully get a supply knocked up asap.
I also have a rusty old NA tank with a good decal on to be reproduced....and the tailpiece.

Is that a glitch on the photo Bob or is something fitted to the front of the mudguard

I think it is the reflection of the building on the mudguard

Many thanks for all the positive comments I look forward to the decals sets for the NA being available, but it will be next year before I push on that front again. A new Silver NA front wheel arrived today will in slow time will process, a polished up, new bearings, new tube and tyre etc. (Again! the one that is on, has slight buckle on it, unfortunately, will need to set up jig to check them really). This bike shall be the only one running the silver comstars, the rest will be mostly running the tubless rims, but I still want to have two sets and the originals are still set aside with the original tyres still fitted. This bike shall be the one that shall consume my NOS stock over time, the rest will get hand me downs mainly. So should stay very close to standard.
