For the removal of the security bolt Nick- access is not good to get mole grips or stilsons in. I laid the mudguard upside down on the bench and supported the lock with a wooden block. Sharp tap with a chisel in the undo direction and it cracked off loose. Thereafter it spun out by hand.
For me I may actually not use the new bolt- socket cap head with a plastic plug might do it in case I want it to come off again.

The undercover - I simply used a standard bolt.....
NOS security bolt safely in the wife's knicker draw never to be uitilised.
